Adele lives on the Wirral peninsula in Cheshire where she shares life with one husband, two dogs, one cat, various chickens, an assortment of hedgehogs and bats, and a large black toad who lives under the patio step.

She is the author of Tamsin and Rowan, the first two novels in a series about an artisan-sorcerer community set mainly in Liverpool, England.

Her short stories feature in several traditionally published anthologies, and her ebook short stories include Dark Tides ,Spanish Jones, Threads and Entering the Grove.

Adele has been a member of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids since 1999.  She has chaired meetings for Riverside Writers since 2003.   She became a member of the Cryonics Institute in 2008.
